Greenside Animal Hospital wins Eukanuba Veterinary Diets competition

Greenside Animal Hospital is one of three lucky veterinary hospitals around the country to have won the Eukanuba Veterinary Diets competition.  The competition was launched in October 2011 and practices who sell Eukanuba Veterinary Diets were entered into a lucky draw. “At Greenside Animal Hospital, prescription diets form an important part of our treatment regimen” says Dr Suzette Greubel, partner in Greenside Animal Hospital. “Just as in humans, diet and nutrition play a major role in the general health and well-being of our pets. By matching a uniquely veterinary formulated pet food with a medical condition, our overall success rate in the treatment of sick animals is significantly improved.”

Greenside Animal Hospital has always ascribed to the highest level of veterinary care and is elated to have been recognised for its forward thinking approach in the treatment of dogs and cats.

The prize entails a trip to the USA where Dr Greubel will be attending the American College of Internal Veterinary Medicine Conference in New Orleans in May 2012 as well as the Proctor and Gamble Pet Care Global Headquarters in Ohio where Eukanuba and Iams petfoods are manufactured. “I hope that the insights I will gain through this continuing education experience, will benefit our patients at Greenside Animal Hospital greatly”, says Dr Greubel.
